Liz Stokan earns PHR Certification

Congratulations to SSYP member Liz Stokan, Human Resources Director at Spalding's Inc. Liz recently earned certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). The certification, awarded by the HR Certification Institute signifies that she possesses the theoretical knowledge and practical experience that is necessary to pass a rigorous examination on the human resources body of knowledge. The exam covers such workplace issues as compensation and benefits; employee and labor relations; leaves of absence and workers' compensation; and workplace health, safety and security concerns.
